Birthdays & Irish Festival
The past few weeks have been interesting to say the least. Cleaning out the house and garage are for the most part done, a few tasks remain. Waiting for word on when the stuff moved to the garage will be taken away.
Sky completed the initial part of his Air Force entry tasks. There were a couple of blips that he needed to take care and he has. Now just waiting for them to call him to come raise his right hand.
During this “time of change and adjustment” we also threw down with a couple of birthdays, Mine & Sky’s. I think we pulled them off fairly well. Lauren made me a carrot cake for mine and the three of us went to see RED. A movie about old people, of course!
For Sky, I made a home made caramel cheesecake. It turned out great! I also treated him, Whitney & Lauren to lunch at a Chinese place in Lawrence. Good times were had. Sky and I also have turned the dining room table into a ping pong table with a gift I got him. That is interesting…
The four of us also went to the Irish Festival in Weston earlier in the month as well. Stayed damn near the whole day. It was a blast! The pics below are form all the events described!!
